Mary Ruth Scott Memorial Scholarship

The Mary Ruth Scott Scholarship in English, established by gifts from friends and family of Mary Scott, is awarded to a junior or senior student majoring in English with a minimum GPA in English of 2.85. Applicants must have been admitted to the teacher education program. Mary Scott was an assistant professor of English at Central from 1964 to 1984. She was active in committees and in sponsoring sororities.
