George H. Charno, Sr. Award

The George S. Charno Senior Award is available through the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation to recognize two outstanding graduating students. These students will have demonstrated outstanding scholarship, leadership, character, and service both campus-wide and within their academic departments. The Charno Award is named for George Charno, Sr., a Kansas City attorney who established the award in 1940 to recognize an outstanding member of the graduating class. A second award was established the following year in 1941.
