George S. Charno, Sr. Award

The George S. Charno Senior Award is available through the University of Central Missouri Foundation to recognize the outstanding graduating male and female students . These students will have demonstrated outstanding scholarship, leadership, character and service both campus wide and within their own academic departments. The Charno Award is named for George Charno, Sr., a Kansas City attorney who established the award in 1940 to recognize the outstanding male member of the graduating class. The companion award for the outstanding female class member was established in 1941.
