Hien & Emily Nguyen Creative Writing Award

The Hien and Emily Nguyen Creative Writing Award was established with the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation to recognize students who are committed and achieve success in creative writing. Students must be nominated by a creative writing faculty member, be in good academic standing, and pursuing a degree at the University of Central Missouri. Students who have applied to a summer writing residency will be given preference. This award is made possible by Hien and Emily Nguyen of Princeton, New Jersey and Dr. Phong Nguyen of Warrensburg, MO.
