Curriculum and Instruction Retired Faculty Outstanding Student Teacher Award

The Curriculum and Instruction Retired Faculty Outstanding Student Teacher Award was established with the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation to recognize the immense contributions by Curriculum and Instruction faculty to the preparation of highly qualified teachers for the children in the region, state, and nation and to recognize an outstanding student teacher (early childhood, elementary, or middle school) for the fall semester and another for the spring semester. This award was made possible by current and retired faculty in honoring their fellow faculty retirements.
Students are nominated by the faculty and supervising teachers within the College of Education pursuing the following majors: early childhood education, elementary education, and/or middle school education.

Criteria for nomination include:
a. the student has proven to be an outstanding student teacher;
b. the student is pursuing a degree in early childhood, elementary and /or middle school education at the University of Central Missouri;
