Joseph Snoble Science Education Scholarship

The Joseph Snoble Science Education Scholarship was established with the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation to honor the memory of Dr. Joseph Snoble, Professor Emeritus of Physics/Science education. This scholarship is for a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing pursuing a bachelor of science degree in physics education and:

A. having membership into the National Science Teachers Association and playing a leadership role in the Society of Physics Students organization on campus; and
B. demonstrates financial need.

Preference will be given to students who meet both criteria; if no qualified physics majors apply, the committee may select a candidate who demonstrates financial need and is pursuing a B.S. in Ed. in Unified Science (with an emphasis in chemistry, earth science, or biology), a minor in Physics, or a major in Mathematics.
