Joseph Snoble Science Education Scholarship

The Joseph Snoble Science Education Scholarship was established with the UCM Foundation to honor the memory of Dr. Joseph Snoble, Professor Emeritus of Physics/Science education. This scholarship is for a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing pursuing a bachelor’s of science degree in physics education and:

A. having membership into the National Science Teachers Association and playing a leadership role in the Society of Physics Students organization on campus; and
B. demonstrates financial need.

Preference will be given to students who meet both criteria; if no qualified physics majors apply, the committee may select a candidate who demonstrates financial need and is pursuing a B.S. in Ed. in Unified Science (with an emphasis in chemistry, earth science, or biology), a minor in Physics, or a major in Mathematics.
