Simon E. Maxwell Scholarship

The Simon E. Maxwell Scholarship is provided by the UCM Alumni Foundation in order to provide scholarship support for a full-time student in good academic standing at the University of Central Missouri, be a designated sophomore, and have a declared major in Political Science. Simon E. Maxwell graduated in 1972 from Central Missouri State University (CMSU) before completing master’s degrees at both CMSU and the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). A lifelong learner with a passion for serving others, he served as an instructor at a number of colleges and universities before ultimately leading a distinguished career in administration at DeVry University and Baker University. This scholarship has been dedicated in his memory.
