Bob Russell Acts of Service Scholarship

The Bob Russell Acts of Service Scholarship is provided by the UCM Alumni Foundation and shall be used to provide scholarship support for one annual scholarship award to support one student who embodies and demonstrates fine character and makes a difference in the lives of others through their kindness, compassion, and caring acts. The recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student in good standing; GPA of 2.0; and have a reference letter from a fellow student, faculty or staff member of UCM describing the applicant’s selfless act of kindness and the positive impact on the community. The Bob Russell Acts of Service Scholarship recognizes and rewards an undergraduate student who performs selfless acts of service to others, not randomly, but as part of their normal way of living while a current student at UCM. Examples of acts may include: participating in an ongoing altruistic activity, going above and beyond with a service project, caring for another in a significant time of need, or donating time or resources to charity.
