Peg Seifner Scholarship

The Peg Seifner Scholarship is available through the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation for a student who graduated from Morgan County R-1 High School who planning to pursue a major in mathematics at UCM and may continue to receive this scholarship for up to 4 years. This scholarship is made possible by way of a generous gift from Margaret H. Harmon of Warrensburg, Missouri, in honor of Ms. Peg Seifner.

This scholarship was established to honor Ms. Peg Seifner for exceptional service to Morgan County R-1 High School in the field of mathematics. During her teaching years, Ms. Seifner has been instrumental in preparing students for success in life by offering challenges and inspiration to students in her classes. Her dedication and strong teaching skills encouraged students to understand and excel in the mastery of mathematics. She provided excellent exposure to students by involving them at various levels in regional and national competitions. The Math Team has brought home several honors over the years.
