Jacob M. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship

The Jacob M. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship is available through the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation for a full-time junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in the field of technology at UCM who show promise of leadership in the field and demonstrates financial need. This scholarship is made possible by way generous gifts from Glenn W. Stahl ’32 and Jacob M. Cunningham ’35.

Jacob Milford Cunningham grew up and attended elementary school through college in Warrensburg. He received his bachelor’s degree at Central Missouri State Teachers College (now UCM) in 1935 and spoke frequently of his gratitude for the education he received there. In addition to his interest in the value of education, he understood the importance of philanthropy. This scholarship has been established to honor both of these highly held values.
