Norris J. Freeman Memorial Transportation Scholarship

The Norris J. Freeman Memorial Transportation Scholarship is available through the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation for a student pursuing a degree in safety sciences with an emphasis in transportation safety. This scholarship is made possible by way of generous gifts from family and friends, in conjunction with the Missouri Motor Carriers Association of Jefferson City, Missouri, to honor Norris J. Freeman, who distinguished himself as a leader in the field of transportation safety. Mr. Norris served with the Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Interstate Commerce Interstate Commerce Commission as well as the United States Department of Transportation.
