Bob Russell Acts of Service Scholarship

The Bob Russell Acts of Service Scholarship is available through the UCM Alumni Foundation for one student who embodies and demonstrates fine character and makes a difference in the lives of others through their kindness, compassion, and caring acts. The recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0, and have a reference letter from a fellow student, faculty, or staff member of UCM describing the applicant’s selfless act(s) of kindness and their positive impact on the community.

The Bob Russell Acts of Service Scholarship recognizes and rewards a student who performs selfless acts of service to others, not randomly, but as part of their normal way of living while they are a current student at UCM. Examples of acts may include: participating in an ongoing altruistic activity, going above and beyond with a service project, caring for another in a significant time of need, or donating time or resources to charity.
